Beirut, July 2, 2012: JCK’s Rising Star Award-Winner Nada G (now Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry) received the coveted ‘Editor’s Choice Award’ for her bespoke jewelry piece ‘Crawl’ from ‘International Jewelry London’ (IJL).

Freelance journalist, writer and commentator, Claire Adler, who specializes in jewelry, watches and luxury and who writes for leading publications including the Financial Times, Vanity Fair, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Wallpaper* and more, was tasked with choosing the award winners for the fourth year.

According to IJL, “Now in its fourth year, ‘Editor’s Choice Award’ recognizes and showcases jewelry designers and producers exhibiting the most creative and cutting edge jewelry at IJL. It draws attention to companies creating innovative, eye-catching and commercial jewelry collections.”

The award, which falls under the ‘Originality’ category, highly commends the ‘Crawl Ring’ an exquisite one-off creation by Nada G featuring an 18k gold lizard with icy diamonds, set on a delicately cut rough black tourmaline stone.
